Description
Established wood products manufacturing operation of cedar lumber (and other species on a specialty basis) is looking for a qualified Moulder Operator with at least 3 years experience in a high production remanufacturing operation.
This position is critical to our production of fine quality cedar wood products based on based on customer criteria. We are looking for an individual that can process softwood on a modern through feed moulder. Duties include selecting and grinding tooling to standard patterns, planning and completing setup changeovers for new production runs and monitoring/running production in our semi-automated plant. Training on our grinder will be provided to ensure you can eventually handle all tooling responsibilities on your own.
You must have a solid track record as a moulder operator, performing setups on your own, to be considered for this position.
Some basic machine maintenance skills are needed to keep our machine in proper working order. We would prefer a person with softwood experience that can handle higher feed speeds.
You must be organized, reliable, detail oriented, and flexible to keep up with changing requirements.
This is a full-size wood product manufacturing facility with modern equipment, a professional production team and an organized and supportive work environment. You must be a team player and able to effectively coordinate your actions accurately with others, on a written and verbal basis. This is a full-time day shift only position with a competitive compensation package.
