How do I start working with Woodtech?

If you see a job posting that interests you on a public job board, follow the application instructions for that site or you can apply directly to the job posting on our WoodtechJobs website.

If you see a job posting that interests you on our WoodtechJobs website, you can submit your resume directly through our site.  (If you do not have a resume prepared, you can complete the Quick Apply form and provide a summary of your qualifications in the Message box and send. We will assist you with preparing your application.).

If you do not see any job postings that are applicable to you but are interested in working with Woodtech to be first in line for future opportunities, please access our Get Registered pages and complete the quick screening forms or submit your resume.  Also, visit our website frequently as we add new jobs on a regular basis.

If we find a job match, one of our representatives will contact you via email or phone to review the job opportunity with you and walk you through the next step in the hiring process.

Once we have determined that your application is a good match for one of our vacancies, a Woodtech representative will connect with you to conduct an initial review of your qualifications, the job opportunity available and together we will assess if there is a fit for both you and the potential employer. We do not submit other candidates at the same time so you are not competing with multiple applicants while you are under consideration for a job opportunity.

Your Woodtech representative will help you prepare for your interview with potential employers, including compiling related work samples/portfolio, reference letters, resume and any other information that may be relevant for the position.

If I submitted a resume for a job posting advertised by Woodtech, do I have to provide another resume for other job opportunities?

If you have submitted a resume to use on either a job posting or on our WoodtechJobs website, we will have reviewed and saved your resume. If you submitted your resume to  a job posting that was not an ideal match, we will retain your application and consider you for any jobs that we receive in the future. To help us find career opportunities for you, it is important to periodically update your application, particularly as qualifications change by completing our Get Registered screening forms or submitting an updated resume Quick Apply.

You can continue to apply for other job postings advertised by Woodtech – this is helpful particularly if your qualifications have changed since you last applied and lets us know that you are still looking for opportunities.

Our representatives will help you prepare for your interview with prospective employers.  We will also attend the first interview you participate in to ensure your candidacy is properly supported. Any feedback we receive about the interview or hiring process will be shared with you to keep you updated.

Once you are placed with an Employer, a Woodtech representative will follow up with you and the Employer to ensure that everything is going well and assist, where we can, with any additional support requested.  We want to help ensure your success in your new position however we can.

Is my application confidential?

Our services are 100% confidential. We will not share your resume with anyone until after you have been contacted and interviewed by us in person or by phone. We will obtain your consent before contacting any former or current employer.

Is there a cost for this service?

There is never a fee for candidates. Our job is to find applicants for our client employers and our fees are paid by the hiring organization.

Working with Woodtech is a cost free way of getting access to more jobs by letting us do the work finding the opportunities for you. When we find a job match for your skills and qualifications we submit only your application to the prospective employer – we do not have you competing with multiple candidates which means you usually have a greater chance of landing the position than you would applying on your own.
