An established manufacturer of cabinets for high end residential projects is seeking a Production Wood Finisher to join a recently expanded production operation.

We are looking for a team player who will uphold our excellent reputation for design, service and quality while keeping our major projects organized and on budget. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take their career to the next level with a leader in the cabinet industry.

Daily responsibilities:

  • Monitor all technical details from materials selection and preparation to equipment settings.
  • Learn, apply and monitor all technical details that apply to both spray booth and finishing line production from materials selection, prepping, sanding and spraying/applying stain, quality control and daily maintenance.
  • Comply with all safety requirements and preventative maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ of experience as a finisher in a kitchen cabinet or millwork production environment.
  • Experience working with solid and composite wood products in a cabinet shop, millwork shop or furniture plant is essential.
  • Additional training will be provided on our specific system as needed.
  • Please note in your application any formal training received from suppliers, distributors, industry trainers or college/apprenticeship programs.
  • NOTE: less experienced candidates are encouraged to apply as trainees or as support staff to fill in the long term requirements of this department.
